7 May Updos with Instructions

For each one of these style, I started with hair that has been stretched either with a flat twist or Bantu knots.

Style 1

Style how to:
1. I sectioned my hair into two, leaving less hair at the back
2. Packed the back hair into a pony tail, rolled it and pinned it facing upwards
3. I then parted the hair upfront into three sections using my finger.
4. I created 3 bumps with the middle parts
5. I flat rolled the side hair and pinned each using a tiny butter fly clip
6. Used my hair "tooth" brush to brush the sides, loosely wrapped a silk scarf on my hair to create a smooth finish
Style 2
French Roll plus Pompadours
 Style how to:
1. I sectioned my hair into two, leaving less hair at the back
2. I french rolled the back hair and tucked it inside itself and I secured it with a pin
3. For the front hair, I created three bumps, pinning each bump to the side
4. Used my hair "tooth" brush to brush the sides, loosely wrapped a silk scarf on my hair to create a smooth finish
Style 3
Triple Bumps
Style how to:
1. I sectioned my hair into 3 parts
2. I started with the hair at the back and worked my way forward
3. I put the hair at the back into a bump and pinned it down
4. For the middle hair, I gathered them together, twisted it and tucked it in to secure it (I try to avoid using too many bobby pins in my hair because my scalp is quite sensitive)
5. For the front hair, I fluffed it and put it into a loose high bump and pinned it.
6. I then dressed the style with a large statement bow. I originally used the mini flower on the bottom right, but it looked missing in the the bumps
 Style 4

Style How To
Because this is a style that I just sort of came up with on the spot, I think a written instruction would be hard to follow. So I hope you can also come up with your own creative style.
But for the style upfront, I pretty much just took small sections of the hair, twisted it and pinned it down in a random fashion.
Style 5
Bumpy Frowhawk
Style How To
1. I gathered my hair in the middle using a large hair comb I bought from China Town Toronto.
2. I took small sections of the hair, loosely twisted each and put them in a bump, using a bobby pin
3. Used my hair "tooth" brush to brush the sides, loosely wrapped a silk scarf on my hair to create a smooth finish
 Style 6
Vintage Updo
After wearing the Bumpy Frohawk for about 5 hours, my head started feeling uncomfortable due to the tightness of the combs. So I took the combs out and pinned my hair down in the middle using my bobby pins.
Style 7
Cinnabun with Twisted Pompador
Style How To
1. I gathered most of my hair with a satin panty hose into an afro puff, leaving some hair up front
2. I took small sections of the puff, twisted it and pinned each facing the inside of puff,
3. For the front hair, I put it in a loose twist and then pinned it down.
