May Style 2: Dry Twists and Twist Out

Style 1
Style 1: Chunky Pin Up Twists
Since I wasn't really sure how I was going to wear my hair for that week, I decided to put it in an interim style, which for me is either a chunky flat twist, Bantu knots or chunky twists. Also because I intended to go out without a head scarf, I decided to pin the twists in a stylish way I could think of, so there you have it.

Twists were done on partially stretched dry hair and with my whipped Shea-aloe butter and sealed the ends with coconut oil

Style 2: Mini (not too mini) Twists
Still not sure of what to do with my hair, I decided to break each twist down into smaller twists so I could get a little bit of volume. And so for the next 3 days, I wore my twists in a variety of pin up styles.

Notice I didn't use any tool to part the hair.  The reason is because I like my twists to look sort of old and less "scalpy" and I get obsessed with trying to make the parts look perfect that I end up wasting time on it.

Style 3: Dry Twist  Out
After 3 days of rocking the twists, I decided to take them down to prep them for a wash, but before washing it. I managed to pull a twist out look out of it. Because my hair tends to revert to its original curl pattern after taking down a style, I chose not to separate the twists after unraveling each twist. Because what I would have ended up with would have been a frizzy Afro.
