East meets West: 11 headwrap styles with a twist

To give you guys a sneak peak on what I'm currently working on, I thought I share these styles with you. This is a great time to start thinking about how to protect our hair in the winter months without the installation of synthetic hair. Scarves are great for protecting one's hair from unfavourable weather conditions. I wear scarves all season, making sure the fabric chosen is weather appropriate. That is, thicker fabric in the winter and thinner ones in the summer. Sometimes I would just wear one of my polyester scarves as a veil on HOT days to prevent the sun from frying my hair. Eventhough those of us in the northern hemisphere are preparing to enter the cold season, some of you in the South might be getting ready to enter the hot season.

So, regardless of the side of the world you're at and the type of hair texture or length you have, I can guarantee you'll find a style or two that suits you. Also, these styles are easy enough that even a beginner can replicate most of them.

A majority of the scarves were purchased from China, while only two are African print, of which i'm not sure if they were made in China or somewhere in Africa.

More pics and the names of each style will be released later in the week
