The only down side is that dry hair has less elasticity than wet hair, so I have to be very slow and gentle when handling it, so I can reduce breakage. But looking at the amount of hairloss in the picture below, I think I'll experiment with slightly wet hair next time to see if I can reduce breakage and speed up the styling time.
Flat twists on one side, corn row on the other and single twists up front |
Although I'm suppose to keep the style in for 2weeks, but since I didn't
do a good job this time. I will only leave it in for about 5days and do
another style afterwards. Plus my scalp is starting to get itchy, a
common symptom with a style that exposes my scalp too much.
I wonder how my hair would turn out when I take out the style 5days later
I used a mixture of aloe vera gel & shea butter. |
How are you wearing your hair this week?
It doesn't look too bad. I do not think I would ever use extensions if my hair was longer. What do you do to reduce breakage?
ReplyDeleteI plan to work with hydrated hair, which is hair that's been lightly misted, but not drenched. I'll see how it turns out.
