While a lot of women have been fortunate to have a supportive partner or male figure who sees the beauty of afro hair, many men on the other hand still have a negative perception of kinky hair due to their upbringing. These are the type of men who frequent the barber as they think their look looks "bushy" or any other word they might use to describe their kinky hair.
We all know that maintaining kinky hair isn't easy and it can also be socially unacceptable if it grows more than 2 inches on a man's head. And so I think these brave men deserve a special recognition for going against mainstream and choosing to embark on the Natural hair journey with us Afrolistas.
