Upcoming Events in the Toronto Natural Hair Community

If you live in or around Toronto and are looking for a place to connect with other Naturals, I have put together a short list of events that are taking place in Toronto that you could go to. If you happen to live in another city, province or country, please be kind to share these events as someone in your social circle might be interested in coming out. So listed below are 3 upcoming events in the city.

1. Afrolicious: A valentines dinner party for naturals. More information can be found on the Eventbrite page, you can also RSVP yourself and guest on the same site. I look forward to seeing your beautiful natural hairstyles on Saturday.

2. A Celebration of Curls: A workshop with celebrity stylist, Felicia Leatherwood and Vlogger, Jere Reid of Napturally Chic.  More information about the workshop can be found on "Shakara Natural Tips", you can also purchase tickets to the event on the website. 

Date: Saturday, February 22nd, 3.30pm

3. A Kinky Affair: A spring social mixer for students and professional. This event is open to all including men and other straight haired folks. I am currently looking for people with performing talents and sponsors for this event. So please message me if you or someone you know falls under this category.
