Inside Montreal Metro. *I spent last weekend in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Canada's version of Paris*
As part of my HRC 4-1 Action Plan, I decided to use the hair that I bought more than a year ago to protect my hair from the cold.
Synthetic Hair Fiasco
Actually, I used this hair last October for only a week! The reason was that my scalp couldn't breathe and so it got so irritated that I woke up with an unusual headache exactly a week after I fixed the weave. I immediately ran to the bathroom, grabbed a pair of scissors and quickly took it out!
I then washed and conditioned the hair and put it away to use in the winter when my scalp will benefit from the warmth the weave would provide :)
After 4 months, I felt like I had recovered from the weave trauma and so I decided to give the hair another try. My scalp was a bit itchy the first few days because it wasn't getting any hair and couldn't release any. Fast forward to two weeks later, I can testify that my head is fine! I gotta tell you though, this weave makes me feel so much warmer when i'm outside. It's like a hat and a earmuff!
*I decided to do a vertical cornrow instead of a horizontal one which would have made the sowing better, but I was lazy and didn't want to spend the extra time doing it properly.*
By the way, this is the first time I cornrowed my hair with extensions :)
Being a Mane Captain means being in complete control of my Hair. I have to admit that i'm still an amateur when it comes to hair styling; however, i'm currently working on this skill until I reach perfection.
This is my third time fixing a weave on my head, or anyone's head for that matter, though I think I did a worse job this time. I still need to work on my cornrow and weave closing skills.

So what do you guys think about my work?
What Mane Project are you currently working on?
And last but not the least, is there a particular hairstyle you CANNOT have on your head and why?
