Hey all,
My apologies for this late post. But for the third style of this
12 week protective styling challenge, I mostly wore buns, up dos and head wraps as I was a bit lazy and couldn't really decide on a particular style to wear. So, below are some of the styles that I wore and actually remembered to take pictures of.

Top Knot |

Bun + 3 Flat Twists |

a very lazy but quick style |

Tuck n Pin, my go to style |
I'm thinking of wearing cornrows for the 4th style, but I seem to be "craving"
African threading. Anyway, we'll see what I come up with.
I love the top knot. I'm also craving african threading. May be my very next protective style.
ReplyDeleteI know my next style would be African threading, I'll try and do it similar like you did yours. I just love how smooth, stretched and soft my hair feels after.
DeleteLove the first and last style. You smooth your buns so well:)
ReplyDeleteyes, I wrap my hair after a style to smooth it. I rarely use a boar bristle brush and when I do, it's minimal, the goal is not to get a sleek style but a smooth one :)
DeleteI love your top knot. Lately, I have been doing African Threading. My SIL and MIL brought me a whole bunch of thread from Nigeria. I have been threading Lil Sis hair and mine. I have pics on Instagram. I think I will be threading for the remaining of the year. I thread on Monday and take out on Saturday to wash. I leave my hair free on Sunday for church... and then repeat again.

wow! I wish someone would bring me some original thread from Nigeria. I think my last 2 styles for the challenge will be African threading. I loose less hair when i'm threading my hair than when I do other styles like twisting, flat twists and the like. And I like how silky my hair feels when I remove the thread.
