How much do your kids know about caring for their Natural Hair? It is never too early to start teaching a child how to care for her hair. A child who is old enough to shower and dress herself in the morning should be old enough to know a few things about how to take care of her hair. Sometimes as parents/guardians, we tend to focus on getting the child's hair done without getting the child involved in the process. It is very important to make sure that you teach your child how to care for their natural hair.

Once you start to teach them and involve them in the process, they will start to develop a new level of self confidence which comes from the knowledge and empowerment they get from their hair. Teaching your kids about their hair will also reduce the dependency which many of us use to have with our hairstylists. This independence will ensure that their hair stays healthy even when they have to go away for summer camp or on holidays.
