Winter Skincare | Natural Products for Dry and/or Sensitive Skin

If you've been following this blog for a while, you might have already read a few posts about my skincare regimen. In a previous post, I blogged about implementing the LOC (Liquid, Oil, Cream) method on our skin in order to ensure that our skin stays moisturized, smooth and velvety soft in the winter. In another post, I wrote about the reasons why sulphate free soaps are crucial in the winter time. In this post, I will briefly explain some of the products that I use on my skin and how I use them. For more info on how I make and/or use these products, please click on the provided links which will take you to a previous post on the particular product.

From Left to Right:
1. Nature's Gate Sulphate Free Body Wash, I also use this soap as a facial cleanser
2. Jason's body lotion, I am currently using the wheat germ line for extra moisture
3. Whipped shea butter to lock in moisture
4. Glycerin for extra moisture, though I only use it on extremely cold days
5. Extra Virgin Coconut Oil: I sometimes use light oils such as this coconut oil or my rosemary infused oil blend on mild days
6. Coconut oil, Castor oil & Olive oil blend: I use this as a makeup remover and for oil facial cleansing
7. Lemon and Lime: As a facial toner and natural deodorant.

Product Find Canada: Most of these products can be purchased from your local health foods store while the Shea butter can be purchased at a cheaper price from any African food market.
